Courtney fixed the sound after Dylan’s fixed firefly work and helping to put it all together again. Please watch fullscreen and HD as the fireflies looked glitchy otherwise.
I’ve really loved this little idea for an animation but I do wish I had put more time into certain things. I would love to go back sometime and create some 3D trees and backdrop pieces and paint the textures in photoshop instead of using alpha channels to use maya colours.
I will also try rendering in layers next time but I think it would have proven difficult with ours because of the backdrops. I would also love to try rigging and animating soon! I’m happy to get the chance to work on animation in the next project and have started looking at some rigging on the side and going back to Alec’s class experiments.
